wherever you happen to be. It happens that the second saturday of December is Jimmy Buffett Day in Jacksonville. And darned if I'm not in Jacksonville. P-p planning on someone's part (hey, don't look at me!)
Guess they picked the second saturday of December because it's so balmy, and the breezes are warm here and the clouds fluffy, and you just want to strip down to a wet swimsuit and blow out a flip-flop and console yourself with a Corona or a margarita. But I won't be in Jax. to do all that.
Guess I'll just have to celebrate Jimmy's day in the Big Apple. Bet I can find a Corona or margarita here.
While I didn't ace the quiz at the link, I have been known to spend a small fortune playing his tunes on the juke box (any of you know what that is any more?) while swilling alcoholic libations. And I've read a few of his books, and just picked up "A Salty Piece of Land".
In addition to being a highly successful musician, Parrothead Buffett is an equally successful author, having penned no fewer than four books that made, and lingered on, the New York Times best seller list. He is also involved in two themed restaurant chains , "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and "Margaritaville".
And for all his hits (and a few misses), he remains mellow and seemingly pretty humble. Best of all, he remains committed to charity and conservation causes.
We could do better than naming a day for him. Maybe we should elect him Mayor. He's got my vote.

They have a juke box at the LA (stands for Lower Arlington) grill a few blocks from where I live. It's connected to an internet server so there's literally millions of songs to choose from. A nice upgrade.

Jimmy Buffet and Coral Reefer Band’s performance is always remarkable. No one could deny how Jimmy buffet’s songs, such as Margaritaville, has always attracted people. Jimmy has gained a great number of fans during his music career and I’m no exception. I do love his style so much and I always do the possible to attend his concerts if I see that the ticket price is affordable because in such concerts such as Jimmy’s ticket brokers sky high prices. I have been recommended a site to compare ticket prices for free and it’s really an interesting idea because this way I’ll always look for the cheapest price offered. Here it is:

We always want to watch our favourite artists but with some reasonable prices.
