For those of you who think that language is a living, changing thing, I want you to know that the folks at Merriam-Webster agree with you.
Every year they add new words to their dictionary. They have added about 100 neologisms to this year's new edition.
One crowd pleaser is "ginormous", for when "giant" or "enormous" just won't do.
agnolotti- a type of pasta.
nocebo- a negative-impact placebo.
flex-cuff- a plastic wrist restraint. (They don't specify if this is for recreational or serious restraint.)
Others include sudoku (about time), perfect storm and Bollywood.
