The word of the day is veisalgia, what you're going to feel tomorrow after celebrating St. Patrick's Day by drinking too much green beer today.
Veisalgia: The unpleasant after-effects after the consumption of alcohol.
From Norwegian "kveis" meaning "uneasiness after debauchery" and "algia," Greek for "grief or pain".
(There you go, Scholiast.)
Uneasiness after debauchery, huh? Makes a hangover sound even worse, somehow.

Thanks, I'll consider putting it in our dictionary... Although the only "kveis" I can find in the dictionary (and I had to look it up, cause I've never heard it before), means "intestinal worm in fish". Well, kind of nauseating in itself ;)
