Metal sculptor Terry Jones has found low-cost material for making his intriguing sculptures. Jones makes sculptures of longhorns from guns confiscated by Texas police departments. Instead of the police welding and cutting up confiscated weapons, Jones welds them into beautiful art.
He said he likes to use double-barreled shotguns for the animals' noses, and handcuffs around the eyes.
He is currently working on a sculpture for the League City, Texas, Butler Longhorn Museum, made from guns provided by the League City Police Department.
