It's a dream for me, that is. LC and Stryder took these shots of Tahiti on a stopover on their way to New Zealand. Sigh.
I so long to hop into that water.

Two words:
GO NOW!
It is heaven. Only disadvantages: 1) I went on my honeymoon with a now defunct husband 2) mosquitoes, everywhere (they are not native to this paradise, but were brought by some of the first visitors. I blame Captain Bligh.) 3) The expat French residents. I love most French people, I am part French myself, but colonial French seem to embody all the negative cliches.
Even so, it's still as close to paradise on earth that still exists.

The place is a paradise. I can live there forever.
