Carnival of the Recipes at Caterwauling!

Yesterday, Caterwauling put up the 72nd Carnival of the Recipes.  The theme was balls.  Holiday balls.  No, not the kind where you dress up in formal gowns, the better kind.  Round food.  Come to think of it, a lot of holiday food is round.  Cookies, cakes, truffles (sweet and savory), pies, black-eyed peas (sorta round)...well, it goes on and on.  Several of us submitted meatballs, fortunately all different.

Caterwauling treated us to this chocolate pretzel wreath (Omigod, I'm in heaven):

Next week's carnival is "Russian Christmas".  Let's see, vodka, caviar, (Mom's borscht, oh yeah!).
